The Aims of the Provision

To provide an excellent service for parents and children alike.

To create a safe, well equipped, stimulating and happy environment in which they can learn, play and socialise.

To provide a wide range of activities, meeting the needs of all abilities and age groups within the club.

To encourage children to participate in all activities and respond to their needs.

Diamonds Staff

The club is managed by Karen Burgess and seven qualified play workers. Staff members have many years experience working and looking after children and are encouraged to attend relevant training courses.

Each reception child in a group setting must be assigned a key person. A key person has special responsibilities for working with a small number of children, giving them reassurance to feel safe and cared for and building relationships with the parents of the children in their group.

Collection of Your Children

Please introduce yourself to the club’s manager and staff so that we are aware of the parents and guardians responsible for collecting each child. You must let us know if there is a change in routine and you have arranged for someone different to collect your child/children.

Please be aware that if a child is left for an unacceptable amount of time and we are unable to contact you, or one of your nominated contacts, then our policy is to contact the police and social services.

If you anticipate being late you must contact Diamonds in order for us to reassure your child.
