Sporting Success 2017-18

Our sporting achievements!

Netball - Thursday 19th October 2017

Well done to the St Mary's Netball Team who played their first two matches of the season. They lost 5-3 to Dobcross in a tightly fought match. Star player was Lucy Johnson for excellent positional play, shooting and all round impact. They beat St Chads 21-1.  Star player Holly Haynes for working hard on accurate passes and acting on coaching points. Holly also did some very good shooting.

All the girls played well. We have lots to work on, but overall an amazing start to the season!  The future looks bright for St Mary's Netball Team! Well done girls we are all very proud of you.

Cross Country - Saturday 14th October 2017

Thank you to all children and parents for supporting team St Marys.  There were some magnificent performances. The year 1/2 s did brilliantly.  Once again we secured some medals gaining silver and bronze! Looks like the future is bright with these year 1/2's!
